Winner - Best Bribe
Lynn Wynn's Mermaids - the bribe was the mermaids' favorite beverage.

Winner - Best Kids' Boat
Here's Jane and friends, but the best part was the rest of the float!

What Jane's boat was towing.

Winner - Anything That Floats
Mark and Lana Sams. This was hands down the funniest most unusual entry in the parade! The judges had to think up a new category just for them! They say they are already thinking of what unusual "boat" they can come up with next year. We can't wait!!

Winner - Most Spirited
Wayne and Sharon Fewell and friends singing a rousing, loud, enthusiastic (if slightly off-key) rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.

Winner - Marcia Howard Brown Memorial Award
Marcia Howard Brown was the one who started our great Fourth of July fireworks tradition. This was her favorite holiday. Sadly we lost her way too soon last September. Marcia's sister Lisa and her family decided that this boat represented best all that Marcia loved about the holiday, the lake, and the celebration. Congratulations to the Fewells and friends.
